A longboard is different to a Electric mountain board. For starters, mountain boards often have loops to bind your feet to the board. Also, the trucks go wayyyy outside the width of this deck on a mountainboarding. This is because a mountain board uses small tyres (which need to be pumped up) for their wheels. The trucks are wider to prevent ‘wheebite’. This is when one or two of your wheels hits the deck which stops the wheels dead and throws you off forward. Not a very nice feeling or experience. Theoretically, you could get a longboard deck and use it, but you will probably be better off getting a mountain board as a complete.
