Cardinals manager Mike Matheny, who cut his own thumb with a knife while a Cardinals catcher in 2000, said Peralta should be bumped up to Triple-A Memphis soon, but needs more at-bats before he's ready to join the big club. The Kansas City Royals completed an improbable sweep of the Chicago White Sox Sunday. The Royals again rallied late to win for the third straight time while facing a multi-run deficit after six innings. Kansas City trailed 5-2 on Friday before rallying for a 7-5 victory. The Royals then scored seven times in the ninth inning of Saturday's game to pull out an 8-7 victory. The Royals were down 4-2 before scoring three times in the eighth inning for a 5-4 win at Kauffman Stadium.What's nextWhite Anderson Espinoza Jersey Sox (27-24) at Mets (28-20), 1:10p.m. ET The White Sox will send left-handerJose Quintana(5-4, 2.22 ERA) tothe mound, with Quintana looking to snap a personal three-game losing streak. The Mets will counter with their own struggling starter in Matt Harvey, whose Dark Knight persona has been more like a Lost Knight. Harvey is 3-7 with a 6.08 ERA, but one of his best career outings was a one-hitter against the White Sox Ha-Seong Kim Jersey in 2013.Red Sox (30-20) at Orioles (28-20), 1:35 p.m. ET The Orioles have lost five of seven heading into an important series against the Red Sox. Baltimore lost its hold of first place in the AL East, but sit just a game back of the Red Sox. The four-game set at Camden Yards will begin Monday with Boston sending Steven Wright (4-4, 2.52) to the bump as the Orioles have Tyler Wilson (2-3, 3.80) on the mound.
